Know what a customer file will do on the press — before you print it

The artwork a customer sent goes in. What comes back is the measured print size, the problems found, a repaired file where repair is safe, and a plain message to send back where it is not.

What the system will and will not say

It reports measurements, not verdicts

You will never see a green "print-ready" badge. You will see the effective resolution, the safe print width it implies, and a preview at real size.

It repairs only what is safe to repair

Background removal, edge cleanup, halo removal, upscaling and vectorising run only on files where the result can be verified. Every repaired file is measured again after the repair.

It stops when it is not sure

An uncertain file is held back rather than delivered. You get the reason and a message written for the customer, so nothing reaches the press on a guess.

What happens to a file

    Measure

    Resolution, effective DPI at your print size, edges, background, transparency and any text in the artwork.

    Decide

    A safe print width is calculated from the measurements — for example "clean up to 22 cm wide".

  3. 3

    Repair

    Only the operations the file actually needs, in the order that keeps geometry and text intact.

  4. 4

    Verify

    The repaired file goes through the same measurements again. A repair that cannot be verified is not delivered.

  5. 5

    Deliver

    Transparent PNG, editable SVG where vectorising succeeded, and a report you can forward to the customer.

Why the wording matters

A wrong green light costs a shop film, powder, a shirt and an hour. That is why the system reports what it measured instead of declaring a file fit to print.

FAQ

Does it fix every file?
No. Some files carry too little real detail to print at the size requested. For those the system says so and gives you the message to send back to the customer.

What happens to the original file?
It is never overwritten. Repairs are produced as separate candidates, and the original is what you get back if a repair cannot be verified.
